Don't we all know that one person who is always smiling and everyone hangs out with him when they want to be cheered up?
Why do people want to be around that type of person?
Because they are seeing the world with the cup half-full.
I'm not going to be corny and say through a cheesy grin, "A positive attitude will make your day all better!" But in the scope of things, a better attitude does help when you're down. Forcing a smile on your face actually helps. Check this out:Smiling doesn't seem like a particularly complicated act: You feel a happy emotion, the corners of your mouth turn up, your cheeks lift and your eyes crinkle. The overall effect tells the outside world that you're feeling happy on the inside. It's simple and, in most cases, totally spontaneous. We typically smile without making a concerted effort to do so.

Actually forcing a smile on your face helps! But not only yourself. Remember what I asked at the begining of this post? We hang around people who are happy. Being a happy, cup half-full person helps other people out! It encourages them and makes them feel better. So put a smile on that face, it makes most people look better anyway. :P :)
Proverbs 17:22 "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."
